Reverend Stephen Enea arraigned in Oneida County Court


UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Reverend Stephen Enea, a Utica Priest, was arraigned on Monday, accused of swindling contractors out of a half million dollars. Enea pleaded not guilty to charges of second degree larceny, third degree larceny, first degree scheme to defraud and issuing a bad check.

The alleged scheme concerned renovations to the Italo- Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Judge Michael Dwyer, in Oneida County Court moved the case to meet again on September 5th so Enea's attorney Cory Zennamo can discuss the situation with his client. giving him a chance to accept or reject the offer.

If rejected the motions date is set for September 19th and the date to answer the argument is set for September 26th.
