Rome Police on look-out for armed robberROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Rome Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Saturday morning. Authorities say a male entered the Fastrac Market on North James Street armed with a handgun. He threatened the male clerk and demanded cash, police said. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a white male, 5' 7" tall. He was wearing a blue colored jacket, blue denim pants and black shoes or sneakers at the time of the robbery. The suspect was also wearing a green colored ski mask and dark colored gloves.
