WRIGHT, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say they've seized about 100 live cats from a rural upstate New York home where more than 60 felines were found dead. A raid by police and animal welfare organizations found cats living in deplorable conditions at a home in the Schoharie County town of Wright, 20 miles west of Albany. Workers at the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley say 67 cats were found dead. The rescued animals have been taken to the shelter. There is no information on any charges and no names have been released. The Schoharie County Sheriff's Office is holding a news conference this morning to discuss the case.
