Severe thunder storm downs tree, power lines
By NICOLE PITT
(WKTV) - Thousands of National Grid customers are without power following a severe line of storms that passed through the area on Tuesday night.
There were several reports of trees and wires down as a result of a severe thunderstorm that passed through the area.
There was a tree down on some wires near the intersection of Higby Road and Hollister Road in Utica knocked out power to that neighborhood.
Drivers along the arterial experienced some flooding, driving through water about a foot deep in some spots.
Most of the power outages were in Whitesboro and Whitestown, where several tree and wires were reported down.
National Grid reports all power should be restored by 1 am Wednesday.
