Snow emergencies declared in Utica and some Herkimer County villages

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Multiple municipalities have declared snow emergencies Friday due to the weather conditions.

The City of Utica requries all parked cars to be off city streets by 10:00 p.m. or officials say they will be towed at the owner's expense.

The Village of Frankfort has aso declared a snow emergency. All cars must be off village roads by noon on Friday.

The Villages of Herkimer and Mohawk require parked cars to be off of village roadways by 10:00 p.m.

Lewis County is under a travel advisory.
