"Stuff the Bus" toy donations being accepted 24/7 in New Hartford

By WKTV News

The Stuff the Bus Toy Drive continues, but organizers still need your help to meet their goal of 15,000 toys.

WUTQ Radio Host Mark Piersma has been camping out at the New Hartford Shopping Center, an annual tradition, to help generate support for the toy drive.

For those children who would otherwise have nothing, even one toy could make all the difference to them on Christmas morning.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Shopping Center at any time, 24 hours a day.

On Wednesday, the bus made an extra stop at the Adirondack Bank Building in downtown Utica where toys were collected until 4 p.m.

"We're looking for new, unwrapped toys and the beautiful thing is, all the toys collected are going to stay right here in Central New York," said KISSFM Radio Host "Big Poppa" Gary Spears, who was helping with the event downtown.
