Team Rubicon assists Oneida Flood Victims with rebuilding

ONEIDA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oneida City/Madison County Long Term Recovery Group (OCMC LTRG) announced that members of Team Rubicon dedicated their Veteran's Day of Service to victims of the June 2013 Flood, Saturday.

Team Rubicon, which unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response team to disaster areas, served in Oneida from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

In addition to serving in Oneida, the Team has also served in Haiti, Chile, Burma, and Pakistan internationally, and domestically during Hurricane Sandy, the Oklahoma Tornadoes, and during other natural disasters.

The OCMC LTRG will also host a Town Hall Meeting and Flood Recovery Information Session on Wednesday, November 13th at the Kallet Theater in Oneida.
