The Children's Museum holds Holiday Gala Festival of Trees and Lights

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) -The Children's Museum in Utica held their 49th annual Holiday Gala Fundraiser and Festival of Trees and Lights Friday.

Community members enjoyed an evening of cocktails and hors d'ouvres while browsing dozens of decorated trees, wreaths, centerpieces and a range of items all up for auction.

"I guess now it's become a tradition to do it every year and it's a cool thing to do and it's the holiday season," said Executive Director Marlene Brown. "It's a fun time for adults to get together tonight for my board to enjoy each other and then tomorrow and next Saturday for families to come in and enjoy everything in the museum."

The fundraiser continues Saturday for a family day from 9:15 am. to 12:15 pm. with reduced admission. $5 for Children 3 - 17, $6 for Senior and Veterans, and $7 for adults (members and Children under 2 are free).

Holiday on Main Street for The Children's Museum is Saturday November 24th.
