CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - Who said you need candy to enjoy yourself on Halloween? The Academy of Performing and Creative Arts in Clinton brought people together for a fun and healthier Halloween activity, where they taught locals how to dance like Michael Jackson.

The "Thriller" dance class has been going on for two years and brings people together on Halloween night to learn Jackson's "Thriller" moves. Those who attend dress-up in costumes. The class is taught by instructor Michael Reyes, and the entire community is invited for the festivities.

Reyes said he enjoys teaching the class and that it's a fun way to bring the community together, " We do the most we can in the time we have... and we have fun and everyone's in the Halloween spirit."

The studio hopes to continue this class annually.
