NEWSChannel 2 reporter puts on her dancing shoes for "Dance the Night Away" fundraiser

DEERFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - When the Dance the Night Away fundraiser vent kicks off this weekend, one of NEWSChannel 2's own will be hitting the dance floor to help the cause.

Reporter Hilary Lane is taking part in the dancing event that raises money for the Good News Center. Officials at the center say the money raised from the event will go toward programs that help people repair broken marriages.

"Our dance proceeds will go to support our marriage and family programs here at the Good News Center," said Michael Buckley, Executive Director of the center. "A lot of people are hurting in their relationships out there, including the children of people that are struggling in their marriages."

Dance the Night Away takes place Saturday, February 11 at Hart's Hill Inn in Whitesboro.
