Whitesboro man injured after car accident near Sangertown Square
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A 93 year old Whitesboro man was injured after a car accident Friday morning near Sangertown Square Mall.
According to New Hartford Police, the accident occurred on Commercial Drive at the intersection of Commercial Drive and the mall entrance near Tehan's Plaza.
Police say a vehicle driven by David Dye, 26, of Frankfort was making a left hand turn into the mall entrance when his vehicle collided with a vehicle being headed eastbound on Commercial Drive driven by Stanley Wroblewski, 93, of Whitesboro.
The collision caused damage to both vehicles requiring them to be towed from the scene and caused a minor traffic delay on the roadway.
Wroblewski suffered a cut to his arm and chest pain from the airbag deployment and was transported to St Luke's Hospital in New Hartford for treatment.
Dye was not injured.
No tickets have been issued and the accident is still under investigation.
The New Hartford Fire Department and Edwards Ambulance assisted police at the scene.
