RICHFIELD SPRINGS, N.Y. (WKTV) -  A 19-year-old woman was injured in an early-morning accident on State Route 28, according to state police.

Rebecca Loucks, 19, crossed the center line just after 1:30 a.m. and struck a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Matthew Tracy.

According to officials, Tracy was intoxicated at the time, and has now been charged with a DWI.

Rescue crews had to use the Jaws of Life to free Loucks -- who suffered a broken arm and broken leg -- from her vehicle.

According to police, Loucks says she only remembers dense fog before the accident.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
