Utica man faces weapons charges

(WKTV) - A Utica man faces several felony charges after police were called to assist a parole officer Friday.

Charles Taylor, 23, of Rutger Street was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Utica Police said officers were called to the 400 block of Court Street at around 12:30 p.m. to assist a parole officer. Police said Taylor had a loaded .22 caliber Beretta handgun.
