Montgomery family establishes funeral fund, announces calling hours

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The family of Harry Montgomery, a man killed Wednesday in the shooting spree, has established a fund to help pay for funeral costs.

A member of the family says that checks can be mailed or dropped off to the Adirondack Bank in Herkimer.

Checks can be dropped off at other Adirondack Bank locations in the Mohawk Valley, family members said, and they will get transferred to the appropriate fund.

The bank confirmed to NEWSChannel 2 that the fund was established.

 

Other organizations are working on ways to raise money for the family members affected by the deadly shootings.

 

Funeral, calling hours announced
Family members also say the funeral will be held Monday at 5pm at the Enea Funeral Home on Acme Road in Frankfort. Calling hours will happen immediately before, 2pm - 5pm.
