9:29 a.m.
Fire reported at 32 South Washington Street in Mohawk, home of shooting suspect Kurt Myers. Suspect fled scene.

9:33 a.m.
Calls of shots fired at John's Barber Shop at 17 Main Street in the Village of Mohawk.
(Shot and killed: 68-year-old Harry Montgomery, 57-year-old Michael Ransear; shot and hospitalized: John Seymour and Dan Haslauer)
Suspect fled scene.
 

9:38 a.m.
Calls of shots fired at Gaffey's Jiffy Lube at 320 Mohawk Street in the Village of Herkimer.

Suspect fled scene.

At some point, the suspect abandoned his car, which was found empty on North Main Street.

1:30 p.m.
Shots fired at police from abandoned building in area of North Main Street in Herkimer.

4:57 p.m.
Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York State Police Superintendent Joe D'Amico hold press conference to update public.

7:00 p.m.
Suspect still not in custody. Heavy police presence continues on North Main Street in Herkimer.

8:00 a.m.
Suspect shot and killed by police as armed forces storm building. FBI K-9 shot and killed by Myers first.
