ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The trial of the SUNY Brockport murder has been pushed back once again.

Clayton Whittemore, 21 of New Hartford, appeared in Monroe County Court, Wednesday morning, for a pre-trial hearing regarding the alleged murder of his girlfriend Alex Kogut, also of New Hartford, last year.

Whittemore is being charged with allegedly beating Kogut to death inside of her dorm room at the state school.

The prosecution requested a psychological evaluation of the defendant, which will push the date of the trial previously slated for November, back to January 27th.
