The Rome Free Academy softball team rode starting pitcher Courtney Creedon to another win on Friday, holding off visiting Fayetteville-Manlius 2-1.

With RFA leading 2-1 in the top of the 7th inning, F-M put runners on second and third with one out, but Creedon got a popout and a strikeout to end the threat and the game. Creedon finished with eight strikeouts in the complete game effort, allowing one earned run on five hits and three walks.

RFA is now 13-4 overall and 7-1 in CNY Counties League play.
