It took eight innings, but the Rome Catholic Redwings were able to top rival New York Mills 5-2 clinching the regular season CSC Division IV title. Jake Ross went four innings and struck out nine while teammate Joe Melioris came on in relief and also pitched four innings striking out seven. Ross would eventually have the game winning hit in the top of the 8th. RCH is now 9-0 in the league and 13-4 overall.
