COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - Appearing at the sixth annual Hospice Celebrity Party to benefit Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care Wednesday at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, Oneonta native and current ESPN college football analyst Mark May gave his take on the Syracuse University football program and new head coach Doug Marrone.

"I think he's got to revitalize the program.  He's got to recruit every great player in-state then go out-of-state and bring in talent from elsewhere, particularly the south; get some of that speed from the south and make Syracuse competitive again.  I think this region definitely needs Syracuse to be competitive again because college football has always been huge in Upstate New York.  They deserve a winner, and they need one."
