WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Warriors have set up a Class A National league title showdown with New Hartford next Friday after a 41-6 win over Watertown on Friday night.
The Cyclones scored the games first touchdown on a Whitesboro bad snap to make it 6-0. That's when the Warriors (4-0, 6-0) took over scoring 41 unanswered points. Sean Jones starting things off with a 47 yard touchdown pass to Dave Fasolino. Evan Manna added a four yard touchdown run in the second quarter followed by a Kevin Flannigan 71 yard score to give the Warriors a 21-6 lead at the half.
Nick Mauro was the star of the game scoring two second half touchdowns on 132 yards rushing. Next up for the Warriors are the Spartans. New Hartford faces Fulton on Saturday in a non-league game. No matter what happens in that game, both Whitesboro and New Hartford have yet to lose in the division.
