SAUQUOIT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Mason Olmstead accounted for all of the scoring on Thursday as Sauquoit Valley shut out Little Falls 3-0 in the Section III, Class C first round.
Sauquoit Valley, the No. 6 seed, improves to 9-6 and will play at No. 3 Cooperstown in the quarterfinals Monday at 2:00. Cooperstown, which had a first-round bye, is ranked No. 10 in the state in Class C.
Little Falls, the No. 11 seed, ends its season 6-10-1.
Evan Owens made four saves for Sauquoit Valley while Nate Jensen made two for Little Falls.
