Syracuse, and fans, gear up to take on Gonzaga in the second round

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKTV/AP)- The color of orange did not leave Buffalo after Syracuse first round win against Vermont, there is lot of fans sticking around to see what is expected to be a great match up against Gonzaga. Maria Alberico a Syracuse fan from utica says, "It has been crazy fun, we were really busy meeting tons of people, Syracuse fans. Even people from Buffalo who are supporting Syracuse, it is pretty cool to see."

The Orange (29-4), the top seed in the West Regional, face the eighth-seeded Zags (27-6) in the early (12:15 p.m.) game on Sunday at HSBC Arena. Syracuse didn't finish its first-round victory over Vermont until nearly midnight, a couple of hours after Gonzaga held off Florida State.

The winner of this game will go on to meet the fifth-seeded Butler Bulldogs out of the Horizon Leauge on March 25th in the West Region semi-final in Salt Lake City, Utah.
