Ilion's first possession ended with Cazenovia blocking a punt and recovering the ball in the end zone for a touchdown, and it was all downhill from there. The defending Class B East and Section III champion Lakers led 28-0 after the first quarter, and when the final whistle mercifully blew, the final score was 62-0.

Cazenovia improves to 3-0 (league and overall); Ilion drops to 0-3.
