Girls Basketball:J-D tops Oneida, will meet Whitesboro in finals

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Jamesville-Dewitt girls basketball team beat Oneida 55-32 Friday night in the Section III Class A semifinals at OCC's Allyn Hall, earning the top seeded Rams a date with #2 Whitesboro in the finals. Cyndey Goodrum led the Red Rams with 17 points, while Arriell Mussi and Nyree Mitchell each added 11.
Jillian Brodock led the Lady Indians, the #4 seed, with 9 points.
Whitesboro, meanwhile, earned their spot in the final, with a 58-39 win over Carthage in the first game of the day. Jen Deuel led the Lady Warriors, with 26 points.
The Championship game in Class A is Wednesday at 8 p.m. from the Carrier Dome.
