By MIKE LEVIN

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford hockey team dropped a 7-3 game against defending Division II state champion Cazenovia Saturday night at the Rec Center.  A win would've pulled the Spartans within a point of Caz for fourth place in the Section III D-II standings.

David Marshall led the Lakers with two goals and four assists, while Bill Rankin added two goals and an assist.

Mike Cuchiarele had 38 saves for the Spartans, who remain at ten points in the standings, with a record of 4-8-2, 4-11-2 overall.
