Despite loss, USA holds strong in World Wheelchair Curling Championships

USA fell to Canada Tuesday morning with a tough loss of 7-1, but rebounded strongly with a 9-1 win over Slovakia in Day Four of the World Wheelchair Curling Championships being held in Sochi, Russia.

Team USA, comprised entirely of Sitrin STARS athletes – including James Joseph of New Hartford, NY - now sits in second place on the leaderboard and will face Finland tomorrow.

The international competition includes teams from USA, Russia, Korea, China, Slovakia, Scotland, Canada, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

New Hartford's Jimmy Joseph is joined by teammates from Wisconsin and Massachusetts, all members of the Sitrin Stars.
