DiamondDawgs, Brewers split on Alzheimer's night
By MIKE LEVIN

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs and the Utica Brewers split a doubleheader Sunday at Murnane Field, on a night in which the Brewers wore purple jerseys for Alzheimer's awareness in the second game.

The Dawgs won the first game 9-6, breaking a 6-6 tie in the top of the ninth inning by scoring three runs, then taking an early lead in the second.

But the Brew Crew came back to get a big win over their route 5 rivals.

The first game was the finale of an unfinished game from two weeks prior.
