Esche returns for goalie camp

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - Pro Hockey goalie Robert Esche concluded his three day goalie camp Thursday at Whitestown Arena, his home rink back in high school.  Esche, who played eight years in the NHL with the Flyers and Coyotes, has bounced around the international pro circuit, playing in Switzerland this past year.

But Esche says he's glad to be back in the place he grew up and teaching a new generation the game he loves.  "I've always said I'll die here.  Sometimes it seems like we can't get out of the way of ourselves, but that's what makes it that much more special.  For me, I'll always love the area, from Utica to Rome and everything in between and around it.  It's a very good area and whenever you get the chance to help I think that's what you're supposed to do."
