Girls Basketball:Exciting finish lifts Spartans over Clinton

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford girls basketball team came back to beat Clinton 44-42 Friday night in an exciting TVL matchup.  The Spartans trailed by five with two mintues left, but Ashley Chanatry and Kara Sellers combined to give New Hartford the lead and the win.

Chanatry finished with a game high 21 points.  Kate Thompson had 13 to lead the Warriors and hit some key baskets down the stretch to help put Clinton in front.

New Hartford improved to 10-5 overall, 8-4 in the TVL, while Clinton fell to 10-6 overall, 8-6 in the league.
