Hamill vs Tito Ortiz at UFC 121

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Matt "The Hammer" Hamill will continue his climb toward the top of the UFC's light heavyweight division by fighting Tito Ortiz. Dana White, president of the UFC, has confirmed to several MMA websites that Hamill will meet Tito Ortiz. The fight will be one of the featured bouts at UFC 121 on October 23, 2010, in Anaheim, CA.

NEWSChannel 2 has confirmed the fight with Hamill's trainer, Duff Holmes. Ortiz was Matt Hamill's coach on the third season of The Ultimate Fighter. In fact, "The Hammer" was Tito's top pick in the fighter selection. Ortiz has lost three of his last four fights, while Hamill is on a four fight winning streak. The headline bout at UFC 121 is UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesner against Cain Velasquez. The event is set to be a big pay-per-view.
