Herkimer defense stops Frankfort


FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Herkimer Magicians beat Frankfort-Schuyler 54-37 on Thursday night, Jim Babcock's first time back to Frankfort as a coach since he retired back in 2002.

Babcock took over this season as Herkimer's head coach. His Magicians struggled out of the gate but have now won two straight. Adrian Viscomi led all scorers with 13 points while Teddy Borek chipped in 10 points.

Frankfort was led by Carl DeRollo's 11 points. The Maroon Knights drop to 3-7 while Herkimer improves to 3-9.
