Girls Basketball:Herkimer improves to 9-1 with a win over Frankfort

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) -The Herkimer Lady Magicians outlasted Frankfort 38-26 on Friday night.

After an 8-0 run to start the game, Herkimer was able to hold off the Lady Maroon Knights behind 18 points from Samantha Carswell. Kayla Guidi chipped in seven points to help lead the Lady Magicians to a 9-1 record overall, 7-1 in the league.

Frankfort's Kaitlyn Tamburra had six points to lead their team in scoring. They are now 3-7.
