Men's Soccer:Herkimer tops Bergen, Nassau next

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - After trailing 1-0 early, the HCCC men's soccer team turned things around going on to beat Bergen Community College 5-2 in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Division III National Championships.

Reco McLaren had a goal and two assists while Charlie Anderson had two goals and an assist in the win.

Herkimer trailed 1-0 just five minutes in. The Generals came back on Anderson's first goal. They took a two goal lead on goals from Cody Farrier and John Rosscraig. Bergen cut the lead to 3-2 before McLaren added another for a 4-2 halftime lead.

HCCC will face Nassau Community College in the semifinals at 11a.m. on Friday.
