Girls Basketball: Mills starts slow, still tops Westmo

NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The NY Mills girls basketball team rebounded from a slow start Saturday and beat Westmoreland 44-14 at Beekman Gym.  Domenique Talerico had a game high 12 points to lead the Lady Marauders.  Cassidy Albright added 11.

The Lady Bulldogs played Mills close in the first quarter, tying the score late and only trailing 10-7 after the first eight minutes.  But Mills dominated after that, outscoring Westmo 34-7 the rest of the way.

The Marauders improve to 9-2 with the win and will next head to Stockbridge Valley on Wednesday.
