SAUQUOIT VALLEY, N.Y. (WKTV) - In an early-season battle of unbeaten teams, NY Mills topped Sauquoit 1-0 on Wednesday night.
The only goal came with about a minute to go in the first half. Carly Dziekan found Sarah Frankland for the score. Victoria Swider had three saves in the win for NY Mills, who improved to 2-0 overall.
Sauquoit, now 2-1 overall, 1-1 in the league, was led by Jessica Jecko's six saves.
