New Hartford wins three of four from Whitesboro

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - On a day in which Whitesboro and New Hartford faced off in four different sports, three of which were a few miles apart, the Spartans won three of the four.

In Boys Golf, New Hartford won 192-197, with freshman Alec Bard the low score, with 36.

In Boys Tennis, the Spartans swept the Warriors 7-0 to improve to 3-0 on the season.

In Baseball, NH won 11-1, scoring four runs in the third inning, three in the fifth and two each in the sixth and seventh.  The Spartans improved to 4-4 on the season, while the Warriors fell to 3-4.

The only game in which Whitesboro won against their rivals was in softball, where the Lady Warriors won 10-6.  Melanie Klauser and Krista Rounds each drove in two runs for Whitesboro.
