Boys Basketball:Welch scores his 1000th in NY Mills win

NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Senior center Matt Welch scored his 1000th career point as NY Mills beat Owen D. Young 75-42.

Welch becomes the 11th player in school history to reach 1000 points. He finished with 19 points on the night. Nick Comenale added 16 for the Marauders, who improve to 8-1 overall, 5-0 in the league.

Martin Collins led the Wildcats with 14 points.
