H.S. Football: Oneida bounces back with win over rival VVS

VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - One week after being shut out by one rival, Cazenovia, Oneida responded in Week four Saturday, with a 27-17 victory over another rival, V-V-S. The Indians were led by Dylan Cafalone's four touchdowns.
Chris Beavo had two scores for V-V-S, his first a five yard TD run after a long return on the game's opening kickoff. Cafalone scored twice before the end of the quarter, giving Oneida a 14-7 lead at halftime.
The Red Devils (2-2) responded by taking a 17-14 lead at halftime, but never scored in the second half.
Oneida (3-1) will next head to Homer in Week 5 Friday night. V-V-S hosts South Jefferson Saturday.
