SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse basketball team lost another key player Monday, as the school announced freshman center DaJuan Coleman will be out four weeks recovering from knee surgery.
Coleman, a graduate of Jamesville-Dewitt high school, started all twenty Orange games, averaging 5.0 points a game and 4.3 rebounds.
SU is already playing without senior guard James Southerland, who has an eligibility issue.
The Orange are ranked sixth in both the AP and Coaches polls this week and are 18-2 on the season, 6-1 in the Big East after falling 75-71 in overtime at Villanova Saturday. Up next is another road game, this Saturday at Pittsburgh.
