UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Proctor boys basketball team came back from a double digit deficit, but still fell short, 55-52 to Nottingham Tuesday night. The Raiders are now 7-7 on the season, with a section title rematch with Hennniger set for Friday at the Arcuri Athletic Complex.
The Bulldogs jumped out in front early, though the Raiders came back to get within three, 17-14 at the end of the first quarter. Nottingham extended that lead to 33-23 at halftime, but the Raiders responded by pulling within three after three.
Chris Simmons led Proctor with 14 points, J'Von Evans had 13 and Naronn Harvey added 12. Tyquan Rolon of Nottingham had the game high, with 15.
