Girls Soccer:Sauquoit wins Class C-1 title

CHITTENANGO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit Valley Lady Indians are back on top with a 2-1 win over Tully in the Class C-1 title game on Monday night. With the win, Sauquoit advances to the C-1/C-2 final against MPH at Chittenango on Wednesday at 6:30pm.
The Lady Indians got the scoring started in the first half with a goal by Jenna Mazza on an assist from Elisa Marchione. Mazza then returned the favor to Marchione to give Sauquoit a 2-0 halftime lead.
Hannah Leva got on the board for Tully midway through the second half, but Sauquoit shut them down. Alyson Gaffney had four saves in the win.
