Three games in the bag at the District V playoffs

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - With three games in the books at the District V playoffs, the brackets are getting smaller in the double elimination tournament.

The early game of the day was to have Little Falls play Smith Post. However, Little Falls did not show due to insufficent number of players. So Smith automatically advances and will face Moran Meeker O'Rouke at 11am on Friday.

MMO lost to Whitestown 17-3 in seven innings with the mercy rule in effect. New Hartford beat Adrean 11-8 and will face Utica at 3pm on Friday . Ilion beat Utica 6-5. So Ilion will face Whitestown at 7pm on Friday.
