Whitesboro ends drought vs rival NH

WHITESBORO, N.Y. - The Whitesboro girls lacrosse team ended a four year drought against its chief rival, New Hartford, with an 11-7 win Saturday at Chiz Frye Field. Krysta Beha and Nicole Jones each scored two goals and added an assist for the Warriors, who improved to 1-1 on the season.

Amanda Chruscicki also added two goals for Whitesboro, while goalie Nicole Slattery had 15 saves in net.

Jordan Meyers had a hat trick for the Spartans, who fell to 0-2 on the season.
