Bernie Williams visits Cooperstown

By MIKE LEVIN

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - Former New York Yankees great Bernie Williams visited Cooperstown for the first time Friday, as part of the Baseball Hall of Fame's Authors Series program.

Williams, an accomplished jazz guitarist, co-wrote "Rhythms of the Game: The Link Between Musical and Athletic Performance," with Dave Gluck and Bob Thompson.

All three writers spoke to fans at the Grandstand Theater, before taking questions and signing copies of the book.

Although Williams played for the Yankees and even played for the minor league team in Oneonta, this was the first time he had the time to visit the "Birthplace of Baseball."
