SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse University football team has had more than its share of struggles over the past few years, but when training camp comes around, it's automatic optimism for the Orange. Despite a 7-28 overall record and 2-19 Big East record in three seasons under head Coach Greg Robinson and the job safety speculation those numbers have created, Syracuse opened camp on Monday with renewed hopes that this will finally be the year the program turns around.
