By MIKE LEVIN

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - In a much different game than their season opener Saturday, the HCCC Men's Soccer team beat CC Morris 1-0 in double overtime Sunday in the Coliseum Soccer Club Classic at Wehrum Stadium.  Charlie Anderson scored the game winner, already his third goal in two games, three minutes into the second extra session.

The Generals hosted the tournament that also included Bunker Hill CC, who beat TC3 2-1 in the early game.  HCCC beat Bunker Hill 5-1 Saturday, after scoring three goals in the first ten minutes.

Sunday's game between Herkimer and Morris was much different, with defense the name of the game.  General goalie Erik Szczerba had three saves, while his opposite number, Nick Mihalik of Morris, had five.

Pete McAvoy assisted on Anderson's game winning goal.

HCCC will next head to HVCC Thursday at 4.
