College Basketball:Lady Hawks, Mustangs seasons end in defeat

The MVCC women's basketball team and the Morrisville State men both fell short in huge playoff games Saturday night.

The Lady Hawks fell 78-60 to Rock Valley in the NJCAA Division III Championship game from Rochester, Minnesota.  Shaniece Brown led MV with 19 points in the loss.

The Mustangs were defeated 84-66 by St Mary's (MD) in the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 round.  Kucjok Ater and Rhamel Williams each had 16 points for Morrisville, who finished their best season ever at 23-6.
