SUNYIT drops opener

CLINTON, N.Y. Proctor grad T'Andre Richardson had 12 points in his SUNYIT debut, but shot just 5-15 from the floor, while turning the ball over six times, though he did have a nice block in the second half.

Derek Rowe of SUNYIT led all scorers with 20 points, while also adding eight rebounds.  Yhashin White had 18 points and six steals.

The Wildcats will face Bridgewater State in the tournament consolation game, Saturday afternoon at two.
