Week 11 Training Schedule

WEEK 11

JUNE 27, 2011

 

This will be the last week for your long runs. Through these training runs you have been experiencing all parts of the Boilermaker course. Just keep in your mind your strength and weakness of the course and prepare mentally preparation for race day.

We’ll be doing 4 workouts this week.
 

  • Monday, Day 1 – A 9 mile run or the whole course. Begin at the start line (Culver Ave) follow the Boilermaker course to MVPC parking lot on York Street, or run the whole course.
  • Tuesday, Day 2 – Rest Day
  • Wednesday, Day 3 – Long run today, a semi-hilly course for a total of one hour.
  • Thursday, Day 4 – Rest Day
  • Friday, Day 5 – Last of the long runs. 8 Mile run. Begin at staring line and run the entire course to Utica converters.
  • Saturday, Day 6 – A 5 mile loop of your choice.
  • Sunday, Day 7 – Rest Day
