NY Mills tops Moriah, will play for state title on Saturday


GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The NY Mills Marauders beat Moriah 57-24 in the Class D state semifinal on Friday.

The Marauders shook off early butterflies and dominated holding the Vikings to just three points in the second quarter.  Nick Comenale led the way with 28 points for NYM.

Mills will play for a state title on Saturday against Coleman Catholic from Section IX. The Marauders beat Coleman Catholic in 2011 for their first state title.

The tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
